But who is Henriette, anyway? Our namesake is Henriette "Jetty" Strauss-Treffz. She was the wife of the Waltz King Johann Strauss and she lived a few houses away from our city hotel. A fantastic woman!

We are ideally located near Vienna's public transportation network. We recommend taking tram number 1, getting off, and enjoying the Ringstrasse's flair. There is so much to see, including the palaces, the Burggarten, the Palm House, and the museums, such as the Natural History Museum, the Art History Museum and just behind the MQ with the MUMOK (Museum of Modern Art), and the Leopold Museum, which is famous for its Klimt collection.
We also recommend our guests visit one of Vienna's street markets like the Karmelitermarkt, the Brunnenmarkt or the Naschmarkt, which are bursting with life and excellent food, of course.
